As your much-awaited journey with Veena World begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your selected tour departure: Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure) Guests who have opted for the Mumbai to Mumbai tour should report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Domestic or International Airport, Mumbai / Loknete D.B. Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport, three hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, your Veena World Tour Manager will meet you and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or the sightseeing spot, as per the itinerary. Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure you receive complete guidance for a smooth arrival, hotel check-in, or joining at the sightseeing point. Your Veena World Travel Advisor and Tour Manager will coordinate and guide you accordingly. The Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination, as per the itinerary shared with you. Important Notes: • For Joining & Leaving guests, flight tickets and airport transfers are at your own cost. • To avail of the group airport transfers: • Your arrival airport must match the scheduled group arrival airport. • Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time. • On the last day, your departure flight must be scheduled after the group’s flight from the same airport in order to avail the group airport transfer. • Hotel Check-in Time in India: Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM (12:00 hrs) or later. • If your flight arrives in the morning, we include a sightseeing activity before check-in to make the most of your time. • In case of flight rescheduling—arriving earlier on the first day or leaving later on the last day—Veena World will take care of additional meals or snacks, if any. • We recommend keeping your travel documents, valuables, and money safe during the tour. • Always keep Veena World emergency contact details and your Tour Manager’s mobile number with you during the journey. Today we proceed to Kaziranga – where wildlife roams fearlessly and enjoy a beautiful rendezvous with nature. Upon arrival, we have free time for relaxing.

Today we experience a thrilling jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park for wildlife viewing. We will come face to face with one horned rhino’s, elephants, deer’s and rare migratory birds. Later we visit Orchid Park – an orchid house with over 600 species from Northeast India, bamboo and medicinal herb gardens, a cactus house and a handicrafts museum. Further we also explore the lush green Tea Gardens. In the evening we enjoy the spectacular Bihu dance – an indigenous folk dance of Assam.

Today we proceed to Shillong – The capital of Meghalaya. En route we visit Maha Mrityunjai Temple – renowned as the World's Tallest Shivling at about 126 feet high. Further we enjoy the view of beautiful Umiam Lake.

Today we explore Mawlynnong village which has been awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’. We visit the Balancing Rock and the Living Root Bridge – Centuries old bridges grown from tangled roots. Later we proceed to see the crystal clear waters of Dawki river and enjoy boating on the river. Dawki lies at the border of India and Bangladesh and is famous for a suspension bridge over Umngot River (commonly known as Dawki bridge) constructed by British in 1932. We also visit India - Bangladesh border at Tamabil. In the evening, we have free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings.

Today we visit Cathedral of Mary (Subject to operation), Elephant Falls and Ram Krishna Mission. Later we proceed to Cherrapunjee – officially known as Sohra. It is one of the wettest place on earth. We also view Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Fall – the tallest plunge waterfall in India from viewpoint. In the evening, we have free time to enjoy shopping in local market.

Today we proceed to Guwahati. Upon arrival we enjoy a ride in the longest river ropeway over the Brahmaputra. Get a panoramic view of Umananda Temple, Peacock Island, the Brahmaputra River and the surrounding hills. Later we sail over the River Cruise in Brahmaputra.

Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group’s departure time.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.
If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.
