As your much-awaited journey with Veena World begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your departure city:

Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)
Guests who have opted for the Mumbai to Mumbai tour will meet at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, four hours before the scheduled flight departure time.
From here, you fly together with Veena World tour manager to Shanghai – also known as the oriental Paris and global financial hub located on China’s central coast and begin your beautiful journey. Upon arrival, the Veena World Tour Manager will assist you with all airport formalities and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or sightseeing place as per the itinerary.

Guests Joining from Other Indian Cities
If you are flying from cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru or others, please ensure that you have received your complete travel details like airline, flight departure and arrival time, airport name, passport with valid visa etc. from your Veena World Travel Advisor. You will fly to the first destination of the tour as per your individual flight details. Upon arrival your tour manager will meet you at Shanghai airport or at the sightseeing place conveyed to you in advance.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World
If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure that you have received complete guidance for smooth arrival, hotel check-in or joining at sightseeing place, from your Veena World Tour Manager as well as travel adviser. Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination as per the tour plan conveyed to you.

Important Notes:
For Joining & Leaving guests the flight tickets, visa, insurance and airport transfers are to be borne by guests. Please ensure all these arrangements are as per the scheduled group tour. To avail of the group airport transfers, we request you to ensure your flight arrival is at the scheduled group airport and is minimum one hour before the group’s scheduled flight arrival time. For last day your flight departure time should be after the scheduled group flight departure time to avail the airport transfers.

Note:
• Standard hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM (15:00 hrs) or later. If our flights are reaching in the morning, we cover one of the sightseeing’s to fill up the gap.
• We recommend you to take care of your travel documents, valuables, foreign exchange, and emergency contacts handy during your journey.

Upon arrival, we will take a high speed Maglev train ride from airport to reach the city. This train takes approximately 7 minutes and 20 seconds to complete a trip and has a maximum operating speed of 431kms/hr.

In the evening, we take a photo stop at People’s Square, backdrop of China Art Museum, Oriental Pearl Tower of Shanghai, Jin Mao Tower Followed by visit to Top of Shanghai Observatory at 118th floor of Shanghai Tower. We hop on an elevator which is currently world’s fastest to reach on deck at height of 546 meters to get a 360-degree bird’s eye view of Shanghai’s renowned buildings.

Later we drive past The Bund – a waterfront area famous for its iconic buildings.

Today we proceed to Zhujiajiao Water Town – an ancient water town also known as the Pearl Stream, best known for its traditional architecture and bridges built during Ming and Qing Dynasty. Upon arrival, we take a relaxing boat ride through the waterways and admire the charm of Venice of Shanghai.
Later we proceed back to Shanghai. Upon arrival, we visit Longhua Temple and Pagoda – the oldest and largest temple of Shanghai was first built in 242 AD. The temple has several halls, the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower.

Today we visit Shanghai Zoo – one of the most beautiful places in Shanghai and has 5 exhibition areas divided into Primates, Carnivores, Herbivores, Birds, and Amphibians. Here we get a chance to see animals found only in China such as golden monkeys, South China tigers, giant pandas, Manchurian tigers, elks, and Yangtze alligators.
Then we explore Shanghai city. We visit Jade Buddha Temple – a temple built to accommodate two jade Buddha statue bought by a monk named Huigen from Burma.
In the evening, we enjoy spectacular Shanghai Circus where we can enjoy acrobatics, dancing, and singing performances.
Later we have free time for shopping.

Today we fly to Beijing – capital city of China, renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, parks, gardens. Upon arrival, we explore Beijing City.
Upon arrival, we explore Beijing City. We visit, Temple of Heaven – large religious complex in the old outer city of Beijing, considered the supreme achievement of traditional Chinese architecture. Its layout symbolizes the belief that heaven is round and earth square.

We take a photo stop Tiananmen Square – cultural heart of Beijing. Then we visit Forbidden City – an imperial palace complex. The architecture of this walled complex adheres rigidly to the traditional Chinese geomantic practice of feng shui. Here we see, Wu Gate, the Hall of Supreme Harmony and the Imperial Garden.

Today we proceed to North of the Beijing city to see one of world’s seven wonders – The Great Wall of China – one of the largest building-construction projects ever undertaken in ancient world.
We reach at Mutianyu and take an enclosed cable car ride to the hilltop. Once we reach the top we get a chance to walk on one of world’s most admired landmark.
Then we drive back to the Beijing, on our way back to hotel we take a photo stop at backdrop of Beijing National Stadium – also known as Bird’s Nest is a place where the 2008 Summer Olympics were hosted.

Today we drive to Yuyuantan Park – one of major urban park in the park in the city of Beijing. with 3000 cherry trees, is famous for the 'Cherry Blossom Festival' held every spring. Followed by visit to, Beijing Summer Palace. It’s a palace built during Qing Dynasty inspired by Hangzhou's West Lake, and adopting design features of gardens from the south of China, Summer Palace consists of the Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, and is a large landscape garden
Then we visit, Jade Factory to see demonstration of how jade is sculpted into the art and jewellery on display.
In the evening, we have free time for shopping.

Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group’s departure time.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.
If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.
